Guidelines
A black and white brochure with a single-colour, size A4, DL, and trifold must contain the event and city of Adelaide logo.
Style/Goal
I chose to use orange as the selected colour due to its contrasting nature against gradients and its appearance as a highlighting tool.
I decided to show a different side of the Adelaide art world, demonstrating a more formal setting of the art museum on the outside of the poster while demonstrating the grittier side of the urban environment hidden within combined using recurring pattern design to separate key elements of text while combing the brochure when folding.
Guidelines
A black and white brochure with a single-colour, size A4, DL, and trifold must contain the event and council logo and the designer’s name.
Style/Goal
I chose to use sky blue as the selected colour to align with the naval history of the region and proximately to the ocean.
I wanted to showcase my images themselves in a more stylized manner, so I decided to edit key elements of the background together and scale techniques to combine the scenery to form a poster-like appearance when the brochure is flatter. This was further enhanced with the use of reoccurring patterns created by various kite designers spreading across pages, combing the elements of the sky.
